Our 23 Kg flight case is built using fibre-glass Carbon and
Kevlar.
The case features the benefit of being designed with easy use in
mind.
Our Bass case is built to fit with ease into most hatch-back and
large saloon cars, and is easily transported and lifted from
sidewalk to car by one person.
We have positioned 4 heavy duty metal handles to make lifting
the case up stairs or onto platforms possible to do alone.
The case also has the benefit of large leather luggage handles,
again positioned to make for ease of use.
The case is securely closed by 7 heavy duty flexible toggle
latches. These latches ensure the case is held shut extremely
securely at all times. The toughened flexible UV resistant
rubber that the latches are made of features the benefit of
having smooth edges and concealed fixings, meaning there is
nothing to snag or catch during transit.
2 heavy duty steel hinges hold the lid of the case securely to
the base. These hinges are attached using 10 4mm rivets ensuring
that the lid will always remain firmly in place.
The case has scuff strips included as part of the standard
build. These hard wearing pvc strips are secured firmly to the
case with both high quality transfer tape, and rivets, ensuring
they will never come loose. These strips are positioned to
protect the surface of the case from bumps or scrapes.

If the case is placed either on its side horizontally, or on its
back, the case is always supported from all sides with rubber
bump stops, ensuring that no part of actual surface of the case
comes into contact with the floor.
The case has 1 padlockable metal latch. A padlock is provided
with the case. This latch is positioned centrally for easy
access to the lock, in a position where it will not catch.
The case has a hard protective outer gel coat. This gel coat is
perfectly smooth gloss, and is available in any colour.
Inside the case the instrument is supported by five foam padded
pouches that attach or detach to the interior of the case. These
padded packs are left open on one side allowing the foam padding
to be added to, or reduced as required.
The case can be tailored to suit a specific instrument with
measurements provided. Once you have made your initial inquiry,
we will be happy to discuss your personal requirements for
interior fitting.
The case is lined in a choice of 3 colours. Dark blue, light
blue and light green. The fabric we use is both luxurious to the
touch and attractive to view, yet is very hard wearing.
The case features webbing belts to securely hold the instrument
in place within the case. These webbing belts are fully
adjustable. 1 across the upper bouts, 1 across the lower and 1
smaller belt across the neck 2 soft belt covers are provided to
cover the webbing where it may come into contact with the Bass.
There are 2 bow holders fitted to the inside of the lid. For
specific requirements, measurements will need to be taken. There
is also a small storage box compartment located in the back of
the neck of the case for rosin, strings etc.
This is a first class case. Its looks as good as it performs.
