 Our Carbon Fibre Cello Case is made by
infusing layers of the highest quality Carbon Fibre and Kevlar with
a tough Epoxy Resin System.
As standard the case has a tough high gloss outer protective gel
coat. This gel coat is fully translucent allowing the attractive
‘twill’ carbon weave to be seen*.
Each case is exquisitely hand lined in a soft velour fabric, laid
over dual density protective foam.
For different sizes of instrument the case has the benefit of a
unique pad system. Four foam pad bags, upholstered in the same
fabric as the rest of the interior, can be quickly attached by means
of Velcro strips, to support the instrument on the upper and lower
bouts. The entire system allows for a snug protective fit,
regardless of instrument size variations.
A matching draw-string rosin bag and string pocket are included in
the interior of the case.
Two fully adjustable straps are provided enabling you to carry the
case on your back. These straps can be attached to fixing points
securely placed on the case.
In the vertical position four non-slip rubber bump stops protect and
stabilise the case.
When the case is placed on its side on the floor it has the same
bumps on the side of the case opposite the luggage handle ensuring
that no part of the case itself comes into contact with the ground.
The case has a chemical resistant PVC trim that is fully rain-proof.
This male/female closing trim is held in place with heavy duty steel
toggle catches. One lockable latch is attached to the case. Two keys
are provided.
Three leather handles are fitted as standard to the case, allowing
the case to be picked up with ease from any position.
Two spring assisted bow holder clips are located in the lid of the
case. When in use there is no way any part of the bow or bow clip
can touch the instrument.
A webbing strap is located between the lid and the base of the case
at the neck point allowing the lid to be retained in its fully open
position when the case is laid on its back
