‘The Skills involved in making Headcase what it is today have
been developed over many years of case making excellence.
The Business is owned by Gary Sparkes who worked for the company
as a case maker for six years before becoming the owner and
developing the range of stylish cases we make today.
Doug Little began the business making cello cases in glass-fibre.
He has developed many types of case shells in his career and is
still involved in all design aspects of current projects we are
developing.’

Our cases make life easier, lightweight and contemporary these
cases are designed for someone who wants the best protection
available, to meet with all of the demands placed upon the case
of a busy musician, in a modern world.
Our Carbon/Kevlar cases are built using advanced composite
materials and toughened epoxy resin to guarantee a truly
impressive weight/strength ratio.
In either Carbon/Kevlar or Fibre-glass our cases all feature a
hand lined interior, fully adjustable to make for a perfect fit.
At Headcase we have decided that it is important to retain the
luxury hand lined interiors unique to our cases, and have not
opted for easier manufacturing alternatives that are often seen
in modern cases.
Whilst saving weight is always a factor we have decided that
there is no point in sacrificing quality for lightness.
Therefore all of our catches and fitting are heavy duty enough
to offer many years of trouble free usage, unlike lighter
cheaper alternatives that can be seen on many other lightweight
cases.
Above all we want to listen to our customers. We can line our
cases to a customers individual requirements. Extra handles can
be added, equally less can be put on the cases to suit. We have
many choices for internal and external colours, and are happy to
‘match a colour’ if you send us a swatch to copy.
Our cases were designed after lots of musicians were asked what
they wanted a case to be. We considered what we heard about
style, usability, durability and most of all security.
Catering for both ends of the market with quality put first, we
have priced our cases as reasonably as we can, bringing advanced
composite technology within the reach of more musicians than
ever before.
That listening process never stops however and we are happy to
